Read on to learn about Francesca Giarrante, who is member of our outstanding Customer Care team.<\/p>\n\t\t\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\n\n\t<div class=\"single-article-body container container-middle\">\n\t\t<h2>Francesca Giarrante: following her dreams, no matter the cost<\/h2>\n<p>Francesca Giarrante was born in San Benedetto dei Marsi, a small village 125km from Rome with less than 4,000 inhabitants.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs the eldest of three siblings in a strictly Catholic family, I had a lot of pressure to meet high expectations,\u201d Francesca explains. \u201cI knew I had to work hard to be able to afford my dreams, but that wasn\u2019t enough to stop me!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Her childhood dream was to become a judge, and at the age of 19, she moved to Rome to study law at the famous La Sapienza Universit\u00e0 di Roma. This threw her dream into jeopardy, and she was forced to stop studying in order to take on full-time work, initially planning to work for 12 months to afford her tuition.<\/p>\n<p>Her 12-month plan soon turned into a four-year working career, taking employment across many jobs to make the money she required. During these six months, Francesca fell in love with the city, and vowed to return when her Bachelor\u2019s course was completed, she returned in summer 2012.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI loved its international atmosphere, its charm and the beautiful architecture,\u201d Francesca says. \u201cIt was a dream come true to return, but I knew money was still going to be an issue for me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Francesca was still working in bars to fund her newfound French life. Determined to see the world, she trained for five months as airline cabin crew and was successfully accepted in 2016 for a role with Etihad Airways.<\/p>\n<h2>Seeing the world &#8211; and helping others to explore<\/h2>\n<p>Her work as Premier Class Cabin Crew, first for Etihad and then for British Airways &#8211; enabled her to see more than 49 different countries. She moved from Paris to Abu Dhabi and then to London, practicing her language skills all the while.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI absolutely loved seeing the beautiful places this world has to offer,\u201d Francesca explains. \u201cBut I realized I wanted to help others, and maybe enable them to see the world as well.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In 2019, she changed career again, working now with Now Health International in customer service, to help French and Italian-speaking clients\u00a0 with their health insurance needs, who were coincidentally\u00a0 some of ASN clients.<\/p>\n<p>By the end of 2020, she had joined ASN as a Key Account Manager on temporary contract. It did not take long though for her to secure a permanent role within the team as she demonstrated her extraordinary intuition for client needs with her insurance experience.<\/p>\n<h2>How Francesca and ASN can help you<\/h2>\n<p>Francesca is now responsible for all our Italian-speaking and part of our French-speaking client relationships.
